Your pet has just had a procedure where a bandage. splint, or cast was applied. It is very important that you follow the instructions below.

Check the bandage daily to make sure it has not shifted.

Check to make sure your pet is not licking or chewing at the bandage.

Make sure the bandage does not get wet or dirty. Covering this with a plastic bag works great for walks and potty breaks. Please ask us for tips on keeping bandage dry and clean.

Check the bandage daily for any odors that are "off" or a "bad" smell. Call the office if anything is noticed (772) 344-8800

If the bandage is on a leg please check daily for swelling above or below the bandage.

Check bandage for redness in the areas around the bandage.

You MUST bring your pet in every three days for a bandage check. This is imperative for the pets recovery.
There will be no charge for this service as long as no other services are required. (i.e. bandage change, injections, x-rays, etc.)
The safe and successful recovery of your pet is partially your responsibility so follow the instructions fully.
