Head Technician  **Charity**

   Charity came to us from Pet-supermarket where she was an Assistant Manager for 5 years. She has brought with her a vast knowledge of fish, reptiles and pocket pets she also does all of the displays that you will see in the animal hospital's waiting room.She prides herself on her knowledge of small animal products and their uses. She is currently enrolled in a program from Science Diet in Nutrition for cats and dogs. Charity also volunteered her time after work for assisting in puppy training and answering questions for first time pet owners. This helps our clients get that individual attention that they all deserve. Working with Dr. Fox and his staff has been a dream come true for Charity since she was 9 years old. She knew she always wanted to work with the animals and this animal hospital has started her on the right path. Charity has recently found an interest in canine and feline dentistry which Dr. Fox and his staff encourage.

    If you have questions about your reptile Charity is the one to ask. Not only has she bred Leopard gecko color morphs and bearded dragons but she has also rehabilitated and fostered for over four years. Charity brings in a lot to our animal hospital and she is a very important member of our team. Her ability to learn things quickly has put charity on a fast track into the dog training community. She apprentices our office manager Amanda in puppy classes, obedience, agility and German obedience.

     Charity has Three dogs and a multitude of fish. She enjoys training with her pups on obedience and agility. She hopes to be competing in the agility ring with her dog "Zeus" within the next six months.

She came to the Animal Hospital of West Port St. Lucie in March 2009.

Technician Assistant  **Christina**

Hi Everyone,

My name is Christina. I came to Florida 10 years ago from New Jersey with my husband of 12 years, T.J. and my children. I have been in the Veterinary field for 7 years including being a kennel manager. My love for animals is obvious to anybody that comes to my home. There I have four dogs, ( a rottie,silky,chow mix, and a daschund mix) and 2 cats ( snowshoe siamese and a domestic short hair), 2 rabbits, 1 orange winged amazon, a bearded dragon, a pot bellied pig and a very friendly rooster. I enjoy going on nightly walks with my dogs, Kayaking with my silky terrier, traveling and reading. I am very excited to be working with Dr. Fox and his great staff.

Technician Assistant  **Gillian**

Gillian joined The Animal Hospital of West Port St. Lucie as a volunteer until she was old enough for employment. In June of 2010 she began a part time position as a Kennel assistant. Despite Gillian's young age she brings much experience to the animal hospital. In 2006 The American Humane Association recognized Gillian as the National Recipient of the "Kids be kind to Animals" award, over others from across the nation.

The next year she was nominated for St. Lucie County's Kindred Spirit Award and received recognition for her outstanding volunteer services to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County. Gillian continues to volunteer with the local shelter in addition to the Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation.

Gillian is very compassionate individual who loves creatures great and small and has fostered hundreds of animals including birds, cats, dogs, wildlife, reptiles, rabbits, and ferrets. She currently attends West Wood High School in the Veterinary Technician program with a 3.8 GPA and plans to attend the University of Florida to study Veterinary Medicine.

She greatly appreciates the invaluable experience she has gained at the Animal Hospital Of West Port St. Lucie and working with Dr. Fox, Miss Amanda and their wonderful team.

Gillian has been with our team since May 2009
