Your pet has just had a surgical procedure. To ensure the safe and speedy recovery please follow the instructions below.

*Restrict activity for ten days following surgery. Please DO NOT encourage jumping on and off things. Try to keep the kitty on the floor. Please keep semi-isolated.

*Check the paws daily. If you notice excessive bleeding or swelling please call the hospital. A few drops of blood are NOT an emergency. If your cat has some tenderness of the paws or occasionally holds them up or appears to slightly limp, this too is NOT an emergency. Of course, if you have any concerns call us at the hospital.

*Do NOT bathe your pet for at least 14 days after the procedure.

*Please use the Yesterdays News kitty litter for at least three days.

*Antibiotics- use as directed

*Pain Medication- use as directed
