Canine Kindergarten Course Online

1)   Orientation: You will be socializing with other puppy owners that may be in class with you. Some of these classmates will be with you all the way up to Agility if you so choose to continue after Kindergarten. You will receive this starter kit and make your payments at this time.

2)  Trainer consultation: This is an appointment that you will set up with the head trainer Amanda Gilleo. This is a free 30 minute consultation about your pet’s unique needs and gives you a tailored outline specific to your training needs.

3)  Class One: In this lesson you, as the owner, will be learning the process of clicker training and how it works. Next we will be teaching the dog how the clicker works. This lesson will also cover walking on a leash and name recognition.

4)  Class Two: This week we will be learning Sit/ and walk, stop, sit. We will also be working on social distractions and a game of musical pups.

5)  Class Three: This lesson covers the “Place” command. We will be learning the “Down” command. “Speak” and “quiet” are part of this busy lesson too.

6)  Class Four: This week we will be learning “Take-it” and “Drop it”. We will also be learning the game of “Find-it”.

7)  Class Five: This is one of the most fun lessons. We will be working of confidence building with the “Agility Tunnel”.

8)  Class Six:  Our final lesson includes jumping through “Hoops” and Graduation!
