Dr. Fox is the founder and owner of the Animal Hospital of West Port St. Lucie. He began his career in veterinary medicine over 25 years ago. Before opening the practice in Port St. Lucie, Dr. Fox practiced for 15 years. He decided to sell his clinic to the Vet Centers of America and began working with marine mammals.
Dr. Fox missed working with small animals and in 2007 decided to open another clinic. He searched for a town where his expertise would best benefit owners who loved and cared for their pets. His desire to bring high-quality veterinary care to Port St. Lucie and surrounding areas led to Animal Hospital of West Port St. Lucie. He purchased an old home and transformed it into our advanced technical animal hospital. Dr. Fox leads his team to provide an environment with compassion, resources, training, and expertise to provide the best care for your pets. Dr. Fox also speaks both English and Spanish.
When he is not at the clinic seeing Port St. Lucie’s most loved animals, Dr. Fox spends time with his family, coaching soccer and giving back to the community. He partners with the Humane Society of St. Lucie on public awareness. He also works closely with St. Lucie County Animal Control on rehabilitation of injured pets and wildlife. In May of 2016, Dr. Fox was presented with the Award of Gratitude from the Humane Society of St. Lucie County.
